AAA Offers Free Car Care Clinic in Preparation for Winter Months

If you're wondering what you need to do to your vehicle to get it ready for the snow, sleet and all that comes with winter you're in luck.

AAA Northern New England is offering free car care clinics throughout Maine for the rest of the week. A triple A employee said most of the common driving emergencies can be easily avoided by preparing your vehicle for the winter.

AAA says no appointment is necessary and the service is free for members and non members alike. Technicians will check the battery, the brakes, the belts and hoses, the charging system, all fluid levels, the lights, the tires and even the windshield wipers at no cost.

The clinics are being held from 9am to 2:30pm at their Maine offices.

• Wednesday, October 9th in Waterville on Washington Street.
• Thursday the 10th in South Portland on Western Ave.
• Friday the 11th in Brunswick on Bath Road.
• Tuesday the 15th in Augusta on Whitten Road
• Wednesday the 16th in Auburn on Center Street.
