Does a Large Pizza Taste Different Than a Small Pizza?
I can't figure out if this is a real thing or just my mind playing tricks on me, but does a large pizza taste different than a small pizza?
We're talking about virtually identical pizzas. On different occasions, I've ordered a large pizza from a local pizza place and small pizza. The name of the pizza place doesn't matter because I've done it at several different places.
The same ingredients, just different sizes. It's usually a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, but for some reason at all these places, the small never tastes as good as the large. Why is that?
Here are my thoughts. A large pizza slice has more dough than a small pizza slice. I love bread, just like Oprah, so maybe that's why it tastes different?
The large pizza has more meat on it and more grease to soak into the pizza, and pizza grease tastes good.
The small pizza is just, well...small. More pizza is always better.
I might be grasping at straws with this, but back me up. Do you think a large pizza tastes any different than a small pizza?
