For months now, we've known two things: Ed Sheeran is dropping new music and Ed Sheeran is also going out on tour.

On Friday, May 5, while the world is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with countless margaritas, Mexican beers, and authentic Mexican food, Sheerios will have a second reason to celebrate.

Ed Sheeran drops his brand new, highly anticipated album Subtract, which is also being hyped up leading up to the release date all next week with special listening events across the world (with multiple in Maine and New Hampshire), where you'll get to hear the entire album before it drops.

Ed Sheeran Mathematics Tour

The following day after Subtract drops -- Saturday, May 6 -- Ed Sheeran kicks off his four month Mathematics Tour (which rolls through Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on June 30th and July 1st). It's his first stadium tour (and return to Gillette Stadium) since 2018.

On Friday, April 28, Ed announced a special, very intimate, 14-show Subtract Tour that will also run at the same time his Mathematics Tour goes off. The dates are mostly all in major cities and coincide with the stops he's making along the way on the Mathematics Tour (the Boston stop is on June 29 at Boch Center Wang Theatre.

Cinco de Sheeran

To celebrate Ed dropping Subtract and kicking off his tour, we're throwing a Cinco de Sheeran party all day long on Friday, May 5 on Q97.9. Between 9a and 5p, you'll have a shot to win a digital copy of Subtract as well as a pair of tickets to see Ed (with Khalid and Rosa Linn) at Gillette Stadium on June 30th.
