I've never had pit-smoked, whole hog from North Carolina, but I'm pretty sure I'm a fan. I think I have some southern in me. And not just southern Maine. I love collard greens, fried okra and chicken and waffles. I had to look up one of the sides, because I didn't know what it was.

Brunswick Stew. I will say, what I read scared me (gee, maybe I'm not that southern afterall). The definition of Brunswick Stew isa stew originally made with squirrel or rabbit, but now consisting of chicken and vegetables including onion and tomatoes. charm.

Okay, I might double up on the pimento cheese biscuits and skip the stew.
