This was news to us.

It's been a long time in the making, but Topsham, Maine's first Market Basket opens next week!

Grocery shopping for most people is aggravating enough without the common practice that many Mainers are guilty of doing.

While competitors like Hannaford and Walmart have plenty of them, here's why you won't find any self-checkout lanes at Market Basket in Maine.

There's only two locations as of right now, one in Biddeford and one in Westbrook. However, this summer, a new Topsham location is going to change that to three!

I sure hope I'm not the only one, but I was totally fooled by a social post by my favorite grocery store, Market Basket.

This infuriates me. If you go to a grocery store in New England in the winter, even once, read this.
