‘Halloween’ Killer Michael Myers Spotted Walking the Streets in Portland, Maine
Let's recap summer in Maine real quick before we get to the rest of this story, because it seems like there's been a lot of people who have forgotten what this "season" has actually been the last few months.
Maine Summer 2023
Summer in Maine is usually anticipated and impatiently waited for all year long, mainly for the fact that it lasts for a total of about eight days (and that's if we're lucky.)
This summer, though, we've been absolutely boned over with an obscene amount of rain and humidity. Essentially, it's just been an extension of spring -- a really humid extension of spring.
Rewind to two weekends ago when it felt like waking up on a fall morning, and suddenly all anyone talked about was wanting pumpkin spice whatever-the-hell and posting memes on social media talking about it almost being time to put away their black summer clothes and take out their black fall clothes.
Hell, in mid-July, the Shaw's in Brunswick, Maine, already had their Halloween candy on display.
And as if that wasn't enough of people trying to will the fall and spooky season to life (in the middle of August during what hasn't even been an actual summer), Taylor Fletcher caught a sight while she was in Portland, Maine on Saturday that just seemed like another step toward trying to murder a Maine summer already on life support.
Murder pun intended.
Michael Myers from 'Halloween'
This isn't the first time we've seen Michael Myers of 'Halloween' fame pop up in Northern New England, as last October there was a house for sale in Weare, New Hampshire, that creatively saw Michael pop up in every picture of the listing on Redfin.
According to Taylor, while she was driving in Portland on Saturday right over the bridge from Westbrook in front of Northern Lights Smoke Shop, she watched as Michael Myers casually strolled along the sidewalk.
And while this is great, can we please stop trying to make the end of summer in Maine happen early, please and thanks?
